CNY lunch preparation at The Home of Love

The branch from the Missionaries of Charity, The Home of Love (仁愛之家) provide meals and shelters for minorities in need. As an active member of the community, Kitchen Infinity prepares CNY celebration meals for the minorities every year as our tradition to give back to the society.

This year with no exception, we cooked a New Year feast for the residents at Nam Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po for the occasion, and to support the mission of The Home of Love.

Maggie’s Cancer Centre Charity Golf Day 2024

Kitchen Infinity has been a long term supporter of Maggie’s Cancer Centre. Maggie Centre provides professional and holistic services to those affected by cancer. Our brands – Gaggenau and Poggenpohl were honoured to sponsor their Charity Golf Day on 29 Feb, 2024.

This meaningful event to raise money for people with cancer raised awareness among the business community. It ended in a great success with a total of 27 teams to join, which raised over HK$1.5 million for Maggie’s Centre.

Sponsoring Rainbow Foundation Annual Charity Walk

Fulfilling our CSR has always been our commitment to our community and our core value as a company. Kitchen Infinity Corp. Ltd and Poggenpohl H.K. Ltd. continue to be the Double Diamond Sponsor of Rainbow Foundation “Explore Science with SEN Students” Charity Walk Towards 15th Anniversary this year.

Held on 11th Nov, 2023, we teamed up with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their parents for an orienteering activity, exploring various attractions in Ma Wan while completing challenging tasks with a focus on STEAM and environmental protection.

Established in June 2009, Rainbow Foundation was set up with the mission of  “Love of Life, Self-Respect and Care for Others”. They have contributed to over 300,000 underprivileged people, partnered  with 260 corporations, 1,300 social welfare and charitable institutions and recruited over 10,000 volunteers.

Sponsorship of Rainbow Foundation “Hear with you – Walkathon in Ma Wan 2022”

Kitchen Infinity Corp. Ltd and Poggenpohl H.K. Ltd. are proud to be the  Double Diamond Sponsor of Rainbow Foundation “Hear with you – Walkathon in Ma Wan 2022” in 5 November.

Theme of this year is called “Hear with you”, which team up with the hearing impaired persons to participate in Ma Wan orienteering, communicate in ways other than words to feel the voiceless with heart. 

With the generous contribution, Rainbow Foundation have received around 1.7 million Hong Kong dollars. All proceeds ( after deducting a minimal portion of admin costs) will be used in organizing signature camps for deprived children and youth, to broaden their visions and build resilience.

What’s Next For Italian Design, a collaborative event by Boffi De Padova HK and Italian Chamber of Commerce

Boffi | de Padova, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce, hosted a panel discussion with leading Italian architects and designers of Hong Kong, engaging them in a roundtable talk about the new trends in Italian design, as well as the design industry in Hong Kong.

Holger Deh Black Forest Cake Cooking Class

We were delighted to have Chef Holger Deh (@ho.ma.de), previous head chef at the Rosewood Hotel’s Butterfly Patisserie to host the Black Forest Gateau Cooking Class at the Boffi showroom yesterday.

Signature to the region where Gaggenau also originated, and coincidentally Holger’s hometown, we decided to celebrate all the above in the creation of the Black Forest Gateau.

Salone Del Mobile Design Talk at Boffi De Padova

Last Tuesday, we hosted a Hong Kong edition of the famed Salone del Mobile, a Design Talk with the CEO of Boffi De Padova, Roberto Gavazzi live from Milano. We were joined by the Consul General of Italy, Mr. Clemente Contestabile, and the talk was moderated by Tris Kee (Executive Committee Member Chair of APIDA Organizing Committee) and it was followed by a brief Q&A session with Asia-Pacific CEO of Boffi, Mr. Attilio Tettamanti. Thanks to the Boffi team in Italy for all the support, and a big thank you to everyone who joined us last week, it was a grand success.

Supporting Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps

We are pleased to announce that Kitchen Infinity Corp. Limited has offered a donation in support of Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps Flag Day on 15 May 2021. 

The Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps was incorporated in 1968. The Corps is not a vocational training institute but a government subsidized Uniformed Youth Organisation with cadet members aged 12-18. The Corps aims to be a leading and sustainable uniformed organization in Asia for the development of youth training in nautical, naval and maritime activities and disciplines with the inculcation of the appropriate moral, ethical and environmental values.

Limited (“Kitchen Infinity”) is the exclusive distribution agent for selling Gaggenau appliances and products (“Gaggenau Products”) within Hong Kong and Macau (“Territory”).  Gaggenau Products should only be purchased either directly from Kitchen Infinity or via its authorized dealers within the Territory. Gaggenau Products which have been purchased by customers via the aforesaid authorized channels are afforded 1-year manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery of such products. 

We write to put on notice that if the Gaggenau Products are not purchased through the authorized channels as aforementioned, Kitchen Infinity will not be responsible for providing any customer services or warranty services for the said products whether for a fee or on a complimentary basis.  Notwithstanding the aforesaid, Kitchen Infinity reserves its rights to provide the said services on a case by case basis and at its absolute discretion.

Charity Kitchen for The Boys’ Brigade Hong Kong

The Boys’ Brigade, Hong Kong (“BBHK”) 基督少年軍 was established in 1959. As a Christian uniformed group, BBHK strive to nurture children and teenagers aged 3 to 21. Through Christian education and leadership training programmes, young people can build up a positive attitude and good character traits. Their whole-person training scheme can also benefit their upbringing into servant leaders – leaders who can use their talent to create an energetic and harmonious society.

Kitchen Infinity is honoured to sponsor kitchen cabinetry and electrical appliances to BBHK’s Learning Centre in Ma Wan Park in supporting their training schemes for children and teenagers.

Charity Cooking for the minorities: CNY reunion dinner at St. Stephen’s Society, Shing Mun Springs 2020

St. Stephen’s Society, founded by Jacky Pullinger since 70’s. She started sharing the love of Jesus Christ with gangsters and the poor in the Kowloon Walled City.

Today St. Stephen’s Society is dealing with all kinds of addictions. They have several homes where those with such problems can come, meet Jesus, be set free and healed, and learn what it is to follow Him.

On 21 Jan 2020, our staffs have cooked and joined them for the CNY reunion dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year in Shing Mun Springs (城門之源).

CNY Charity Visit to Hong Kong Island West Hong Chi Morninghope School Elderly Service

To celebrate Chinese New Year, we have partipated in a lunch service prepared by students at Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island West Hong Chi Morninghope School [香港西區扶輪社匡智晨輝學校] to the eldery at their “Technology and Life” classroom on 15 Jan 2020. 

The students were using kitchen appliances equipped in the classroom to prepare lunch for the eldery and we were giving out CNY hampers to students, teachers and eldery in this special occasion.  

In October 2019 Kitchen infinity have sponsored Kitchen cabinetry and electrical appliances in this “Technology and Life” classroom「科技與生活室」to help students to experience interdisciplinary and also be equipped to handle every challenges in the future. 

Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island West Hong Chi Morninghope School provides all around education to children with intellectual disabilities, to develop the potentials of the children, and integrate into society.

Today celebrates the art of Italian innovation in Hong Kong as Boffi raises the curtain of its new studio Boffi | De Padova Studio in Hong Kong.

A new milestone in the successful collaboration between Boffi and KI Design Limited, which is under the group of Kitchen Infinity. Boffi| De Padova Studio features highlight home furnishing collections, including kitchens, wardrobe, bathrooms and other furniture.

The Italian manufacturer and Kitchen Infinity celebrated the opening of this new studio encompasses kitchens, bathrooms and other living furniture at Lee Garden Three, Causeway Bay.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr Roberto Gavazzi, CEO of Boffi |De Padova and Mrs Sandra Wong, CEO of Kitchen Infinity, who were joined by officiating guests Mr Celemente Contestabile, Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Hong Kong and Ms Anna Romagnoli, General Manager of International Chamber of Commerce.

Krug’s Rock Pepper Scissors’ campaign organized at Boffi DePadova Studio was a huge success! Five Hong Kong Krug Ambassade Chefs have participated in this remarkable gastronomic adventure, showcased interpretations of how peppers can pair with a glass of Krug Champagnes in 5 creative and delightful pepper-inspired recipes. BEAM International Fundraising Gala Dinner 2019

AIA Hong Kong (A Chapter of The American Institute of Architects​) hosted their First Quarterly Meeting plus “Hello Fellow” event titled Professing Architecture by Professor Nelson Chen at our Gaggenau & Poggenpohl Showroom KI Cubus​ in Causeway Bay on 26 March 2019 .

The AIA Fellowship program was developed to acknowledge architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and society and achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Fellowship recognises the achievements of the architect as an individual and honours the awardee on a national, or international, level. The AIA College of Fellows seeks to stimulate a sharing of interests among Fellows and encourages them to promote the purposes of the Institute, advance the profession of architecture, mentor young architects, and be of ever-increasing service to society.

Kitchen Infinity always support young designers and architects and this event was one of the FAIA Leadership Series. All AIA members enjoyed a great night at our venue, especially the specialities prepared by Gaggenau cooking appliances.

Mother’s Choice HOPE ANCHORS Charity Challenge

Kitchen Infinity supported Mother’s Choice by donating to its Mother’s Choice HOPE ANCHORS Charity Challenge this year.

From March 25 to April 28, 2019, visually-impaired ultra-runner, Gary Siu-wai Leung and his team of more than 35 guide runners, starting in Beijing, will run through seven provinces spanning over a 35-day period. His goal for this charity run is to encourage and empower individuals and families to rise up to life’s many challenges. It is possible to overcome and achieve incredible things when you have hope.

Over the past decades Mother’s Choice has provided support to many pregnant teenagers and their children, the most vulnerable in our community. Mother’s Choice got them through crisis pregnancy with no support, so they will have hope for their future.

Today SSS is dealing with all kinds of addictions. They have several homes where those with such problems can come, meet Jesus, be set free and healed, and learn what it is to follow Him. On 1 Feb 2019, we have cooked and joined them for dinner to celebrate the festive seasons.

Raised up in her family’s winery, Ms. Staab studied business in the Great Wine Capital of Mainz, Germany and wrote her Master’s degree in Lisbon, Portugual. Her valuable international travel experience and her global role as wine ambassador led her to today’s successful achievements. Now that Ms. Staab got elected by the German Wine Institute to be the wine queen on a supra-regional level. She demonstrated her expertise in the origin and significance of individual grape varieties. She also conveyed the uniqueness of Germany’s versatile fine wines.

The Annual Topnotch Wine Event – Gaggenau Sommelier Awards 2018
Further cementing Gaggenau dedication and contribution to educating young wine aficionados from all over the world, Gaggenau will be hosting its 3rdGaggenau Global Sommelier Award in Beijing this year in October. Beijing offers the perfect stage to present international Sommelier Awards, and provides an opportunity to highlight China’s rapid progression, as an established wine producing country. The winner of the Awards will receive official status as a global Gaggenau cultural ambassador and other prizes.

As a kick-off to applaud 30th Annniversary of Kitchen Infinity Holdings Limited, Gaggenau Distributor Hong Kong & Macau, and spectating the promising opportunities of wine culture in the Greater China Region, the “3rd Gaggenau Sommelier Awards – Hong Kong Heat” took place in Hong Kong on June 14 in its Showroom, KI Cubus. Highly talented young sommeliers from prestigious hotels and influential eateries groups have been nominated. Two winning candidates from Hong Kong Heat will joined the Greater China Region Semi- Finals in Shanghai on July 17, 2018; and gained an opportunity to participate the Global Finals in Beijing on October 17, 2018.

The sommelier profession has come a long way from traditional wine waiter to expert advisor of guests in their choice of wine. Talented sommelier enhances delicious dining experience. With competence and a great deal of intuition they compose wine recommendations to match a wide variety of different foods. Aside from familiarity with regional and international wines, in-depth knowledge of spirits, beer, coffee, tea, water and other non-alcoholic beverages is expected.
The extensive knowledge of the participants in the Gaggenau Sommelier Awardswas put to the test before a Judging Panel (including Head of Judging Panel, Master of Sommelier, Darius Allyn; First Master of Sommelier in China, Yang Lu; Wine Critic, Rebecca Leung; and 69th German Wine Queen, Katharina Staab in 3-rounds competition: (1) Wine Knowledge; (2) Blind Tasting; (3) Serving.

Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances, unveiled the ‘Gaggenau Home’ at EuroCucina, 2018. The brand achieved an extraordinary turnout, determined by the perfect execution of the booth design – inspired by grand architectural statements.

A core element of the booth concept centred on placing a spotlight on the new Vario cooling 400 series; a portfolio of cooling products inspired by grand architectural statements. The result was a full-scale representation of an aspirational domestic space, that presented an immersive stage to showcase the appliances’ ability to go beyond the kitchen. The distinctly designed ‘Gaggenau Home’ created a powerful narrative – expressing how the new functional, imposing range are grand appliances, that mirror the architectural statement of the home.

The ‘Gaggenau Home’ focused on an open-plan kitchen and living space, which hosted a suite of Gaggenau appliances such as the new Vario cooling series, baking, coffee and cooking appliances. The home also included a garage, foyer, living area and outdoor space, all seamlessly connected with the use of authentic, pure materials and a discerningly designed interior structure.

Whilst creating a booth concept of this magnitude, long-standing partners, architectural firm einszu33 led by Hendrik Müller and Georg Thiersch, deconstructed the sentiment of grand architectural statements. Visitors to the booth experienced an aspirational insight into Gaggenau’s vision, perfectly articulated through a sequence of architectural gestures. The home reflected with precision, the harmony between the rituals of domestic culinary culture, and the functional and aesthetic aspects of sophisticated, centralised living.

Beam International Foundation Limited 逸傑國際慈善基金會有限公司 (“BEAM”), is a medical charity headquartered in Hong Kong to provide free surgeries for underprivileged children with cleft lips and / or cleft palates in China.

Through its local entities and partner hospitals in China, BEAM organises medical missions throughout China. Medical treatments are carried out by accredited medical volunteers with the support of non-medical volunteers. Volunteers come from China and overseas.

BEAM also aims to build the long term capability of medical professionals in China through formal training, internship and exchanges between professionals.

On 29 July 2017, HKALPS officiated the Soft Opening and Thanksgiving Party of Project VESSEL (發現號) at the Kwun Tong Promenade.

Kitchen Infinity Holdings Limited have always been supportive and paying close attention to the diverse needs of the communities and throughout the years, had participated in many different charity activities and events. It is our honour to have been a part of the project VESSEL by donating Aber Kitchen and a series of Gaggenau home appliances, such as oven, steam oven, microwave, refrigerators and induction hobs for their newly-opened food lab that consists of creative hub equipped kitchen, cafe and kiosks, enhancing the outdoor space where interactive events and charitable activities can be held to serve different communities.

HKALPS, a registered charitable organization, is formed by a group of professionals who share the vision of creating a unique SPACE in the three sites underneath the Kwun Tong Bypass for ARTS,LAND and PEOPLE.
The goal of project VESSEL is to create a unique platform, engaging both the older and younger generations, promoting individual discovery and social inclusion from local neighborhood to cross-sector communities.

The opening ceremony took guests and our media friends to the Black Forest in Germany, where Gaggenau – a hammer mill back then – embarked on a revolutionising journey in 1683. “The decoration of the venue brings back the memories of our heritage back in the Black Forest,” says Mr. HendrikKretzer, Regional Executive Vice President of BSH Home Appliances Asia Pacific. “It is an atmospheric symbol of our dedication to revolutionise domestic kitchens over 333 years.”

Bursts of loud applauses came as the opening ceremony reached its grand moment – the cake cutting ceremony. Kitchen Infinity thoughtfully prepared a Black Forest Cake to give its guests ‘a real taste’ of the origin of Gaggenau.

Amidst lush green landscape, a German nail forger – for this first time away from his hometown – demonstrated traditional nail forging techniques, as an emblematic performance to convey Gaggenau over 333 years of heritage.Today, a carpenter from Poggenpohlwas also present for an exclusive wood polishing demonstration, which symbolises the pursuit of craftsmanship and perfection of Poggenpohl, a legendary best- known kitchen brand founded 125 years ago.

Gaggenau and Smeg collaborated with TVB for the shooting of their new cooking series ‘Chef in My Bedroom’, which will be hosted by celebrity chefs – Jade and 側田, to be broadcasted on TVB in October 2015.
Shooting took place at Kitchen Inifinity’s Island South Galleria throughout the latter part of the year and other well-known guests such as 許志安, 張衛健, 雷頌德 etc. were invited to show off their culinary skills.

Fu Hui Foundation

Fu Hui Education Foundation was esteablished in 2004. It is a NGO registered in Canada, with a mission to share love and care, providing educational funds and other resources to underprivileged families, orphans of the Yi minority from the Liangshan Mountains in the Sichuan Province, China.

Besides contributing towards the students’ education funds, Kitchen Infinity believe that it’s equally important to make time to visit the students, to encourage and walk with them in their journey.

Feb The Home of Love

The Home of Love was set up by Mother Teresa’s organization – the Sisters of Charity. Since 1983, they have been operating in Sham Shui Po, one of the poorest districts in Hong Kong, serving the homeless and desolate in this area and nutritious meals are served each day.

Reaching out to those in need and to share with what we have is a value that we at Kitchen Infinity hold dear to our hearts.
Our KI associates had a wonderful time coming together and worked wholeheartedly in cooking up a delicious meal to our friends at the Home of Love. Though the food may not have been the most expensive but certainly the sweetest when prepared with all of our hearts!

The first Barbie Dream House in Asia was launched in December to bring in the festive season!
This Dream House has been long-awaited by many of Barbie’s die-hard fans. It’s a life-size house consisting of living-room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom decorated with real furniture.
Two Smeg refrigerators, in Barbie’s signature colour of pink, were set up in the kitchen area, used for storing up snacks and refreshments to be served to all Barbie visitors.

Fu Hui Education Foundation Charity Gala

The Fu Hui Education Foundation was set up 10 years ago, with a mission to provide education for children in China living in extreme poverty.
Over the years, Fu Hui had sponsored over 8,000 students to high school and university education standard, as well as 2,000 orphans of the Yi minority through its Liangshan Orphan Program.
Kitchen Infinity Holdings Ltd. (KI) has been a committed supporter of the foundation. Apart from supporting them financially, KI have also made trips to Guangzhou in visiting and spending time with the students.
The Charity Gala was a great opportunity for KI to invite its VIP guests, to reminisce on childhood fun times (theme of the night was Childhood) as well as sharing with them this meaningful idea.

Peroni Amici Master Class with Umberto Bombana

The dinner was held in the “state-of-the-art” Gaggenau Culinary Studio. Designed to “bring professional kitchens to domestic homes”, Gaggenau is committed to its passion of promoting culinary arts and art of living. Its simple yet refinedly designed culinary studio is equipped with Gaggenau’s best kitchen appliances, including the signature EB388, the latest 400 series and celling ventilation.
Chef Umberto Bombana, the only Italian three-starred Michelin Chef living outside Italy, prepared a sumptuous six-course dinner at Gaggenau culinary studio. Guests not only were indulged in gustatory delights, but also had a chance to learn the culinary secrets of Chef Umberto Bombana during the cocktail.

AUDI A8 L launch

Gaggenau takes great pleasure to be a proud partner at the premiere gala dinner of the Audi A8 L at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on May 27 & 28. The latest sedan was a perfect emblem of design aesthetic and technology excellence, the core value both Gaggenau and Audi share and keep on pursuing.

Gaggenau invited city’s top mixologists from contemporary Spanish restaurant Catalunya Hong Kong to create themed cocktails specially designed for the event. Guests’ taste buds were delighted with an exquisite dessert feast prepared by Michelin Three Starred Chef Uwe Opocensky of Mandarin Oriental fresh from Gaggenau pop-up kitchen.

Guests were indulged in a full range of entertainment. Calvin Klein debuted its minimal yet modern Fall 2014 Calvin Klein platinum label in Hong Kong; Lorenz Bäumer, Louis Vuitton fine jewelry designer and former Chanel haute joaillerie designer, showcased his latest jewellery collection. Enlighten – Action for Epilepsy 10th Anniversary Charity Dinner

Gaggenau and Poggenpohl were very proud to participate in a worthy cause, as platinum sponsors to Enlighten – Action for Epilepsy 10th Anniversary Charity Dinner. The night was themed Old Hong Kong, with the ballroom transformed into the 1960s’ Hong Kong streets. Guests were basked in the glow of yesteryear with nostalgic dance and entertaining performance reminiscent of the time.

Enlighten has been devoted to benefit epilepsy sufferers and their families for the past ten years, with the support of Ms. Anson Chan Fang On-Sang, Ms. Karen Mok and many others. The 10th anniversary dinner raised much needed fund for the charity to provide support to those directly or indirectly affected by epilepsy and ‘enlighten’ the society of the illness.

Gaggenau specially developed a delectable offering of 1960s themed canapés with its first class kitchen appliances. As platinum sponsors of the gala event, Gaggenau and Poggenpohl also contributed directly to the charity effort by sponsoring Dr. David Fang in his singing performance, a highlight of the evening.

A tribute to the ultimate luxury lifestyle at its finest, Gaggenau and Poggenpohl, partnering with the ‘Raging Bull’, Lamborghini, hosted the Exclusive Black Party to ignite the five senses of our guests at the House of Gaggenau and the House of Poggenpohl.

The House of Poggenpohl were transformed to the sophisticated hub of entertainment and leisure of the party, as a best way to showcase the brand’s philosophy that modern luxury kitchen has become the centre stage of tasteful lifestyle in a house, instead of merely a traditional cooking area.

At the House of Gaggenau, Michelin-star Chef Jonay Armas of The Principal presented a culinary workshop, demonstrating how professional kitchen appliances can change complicated cooking into an easy delight.

Guests were taken on a journey of the five senses by some authentic European art of living experts. Starting with a lavish ride on Lamborghini flagship model Aventador LP 700-4, peering a sip of crispy No. 1 Italian beer Peroni, the guests were then taken to a French macaron workshop by Paul Lafayet and a chocolate dessert studio with Valrhona masters. After a palate delight, they were welcomed to the touch and sight indulgence: enjoying a regenerative hand massage by Lancôme ABSOLUE L’Extrait while appreciating some avant-garde Chinese contemporary art works.

Peroni Amici

Spoiler alert: it was for sure the most surprising and exciting event you can imagine!

When 12 most exclusive guests were invited to the “Peninsula”, they thought they would have another ordinary night in the Peninsula Hotel. Yet, when they arrive in the hotel, instead of a classy private dining room, it was a helicopter waiting for them.

After 15 minutes of flying, guests arrived in an actual peninsula, the backyard of a private house in clear water bay. Then again, instead of the homie bench and barbeque hob, there was a well decorated marquee, inside which Chef Pino Lavarra, executive chef of Michelin starred Tosca were cooking a lavish dinner on the most luxurious Gaggenau pop up kitchen.
Peroni set up the most unbelievable experience as a celebration to launch their Amici programme in Hong Kong. Guests were indulged in the most beautiful sunset while sipping the refreshing and crispy Peroni beer.
Before the night falls, guests started their lavish dinner. Every dish was live cooked by Chef Lavarra with Gaggenau most advanced kitchen appliances, making sure each bite is at its best flavor.
The collaboration between Gaggenau and Peroni, two art of living masters, reflects the brands’ relentless pursuit of ultimate sensational enjoyment and savoir-faire.

Cow Parade

Strato, the Italian haute couture kitchen system designer, has always been the perfect epitome of unique design with unparalleled creativity. It is no wonder that Marco Gorini and Gianna Farina, owner and chief designer of Strato, recently created a life-sized cow sculpture in support of Hong Kong’s first CowParade, one of the most reputable international public art exhibitions.

The exquisite art piece, named Milk Bar, was created with industrial aestheticism. There is a cut-out in the middle made entirely of copper as a tribute to Strato’s signature kitchen design ‘Semplice’. Milk Bar, along with four other cow sculptures designed by international renowned artists, will be auctioned after a one-month exhibition at Stanley Plaza. All proceeds of the auction will be donated to “Heifer International Hong Kong” and “Giving Love”.

CowParade Hong Kong, was part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. Milk Bar was specially selected and toured around the city in an ad truck at Causeway Bay, Central, Wanchai and many other places for a week as a representative to announce the coming of this breathtaking event. On April 27th, 30 Lamborghini super sports cars paraded together with the Milk Bar ad truck from Central to Stanley Plaza to kick off the opening ceremony. Many prominent guests, including Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok, joined the ceremony of speed and passion.

During the opening ceremony, German luxury kitchen specialist Gaggenau provided an authentic Italian epicure experience to the connoisseurs, giving guests a 360 degree of enjoyment of vision, speed, taste and excitement.

Poggenpohl and Gaggenau took pride in the sponsorship for Longines Hong Kong Masters 2013.

The Longines Hong Kong Masters 2013, the Asian leg of the Grand Slam (Paris, Hong Kong, New York) is the first international show jumping event and the only five-star accredited competition on the equestrian calendar taking place in Asia, where 25 best riders worldwide compete for a prize of US$1,000,000. Joining hands with only best of the best, including Longines, Gucci, EADS Airbus, Ferrari, Leica, Veuve Clicquot, and many more, the Longines Hong Kong Masters has become a superstar in the sports and social scene of 2013!

Gaggenau set up four pop-up kitchens, over 20 metres long in total, at the Prestige Village on site and invited four highly acclaimed restaurants, Institut Paul Bocuse (by ‘Chef of the Century’ Mr. Paul Bocuse), Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialist, a Michelin one star restaurant, Loyal Dining Restaurant and Shanghai Lo Restaurant for an utmost authentic gourmet experience. Guests were indulged in a palate delight while enjoying the magnificent equestrian competitions and shows.

Prix Poggenpohl, one of the competitions of the unrivaled grand slam, started with an equestrian programme specially developed for Poggenpohl. After enjoying a hearty breakfast by Yves Mattagne, a Two-Star Michelin chef from Belgium with their parents, around 40 children were taken for some incomparable experience, where they learnt about the sport, talked to elite riders and diligent grooms and walked on the first class equestrian competition arena.

The programme was wrapped up with Prix Poggenpohl, a seamless collaboration of the Longines Hong Kong Masters and Poggenpohl, both epitomizing perfect technical excellence and utmost attention to details. The collision created some exciting chemistry and pushed the event to a new high.

Poggenpohl and Gaggenau went “beyond wild” when 30 Lamborghini super sports cars parked in front of their flagship store in Causeway Bay, blocking the whole street.

The gathering was to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of Lamborghini Club Hong Kong and preview the latest model of the most reputable Gallardo family, the Gallardo LP560-4.

The House of Poggenpohl and the House of Gaggenau were the destination of an exciting parade of 30 Lamborghinis from West Kowloon Cultural District, led by the New Gallardo LP560-4.

Gaggenau, the European culinary art advocate, hosted a hearty breakfast, where the car owners shared the stories of their beloved Lamborghini with gastronomic enjoyment.

2012 marks the 120th anniversary of Poggenpohl, making it the world’s oldest kitchen brand. Riding on the precious opportunity, we are much honored to present six priceless treasures from Poggenpohl museum in the headquarters Herford to Hong Kong.

The exhibition was part of the Business of Design Week 2012 (BODW), the 10th edition of this inspiring ideas exchange platform for Asia’s industry leaders and professionals. Serving as the finale of 2012 Hong Kong Design Year, BODW has become a must-attend grand ceremony in the design world and a perfect occasion for the Poggenpohl 120th anniversary exhibition.

It is the first time these historical pieces have left Herford and been exhibited overseas. From the “Ideal Kitchen” in 1923 to the “Poggenpohl Porsche Design Kitchen P’7340” in 2007, these collections are not only the iconic designs of Poggenpohl through its 120-year history, representing our heritage and legacy, but also the most revolutionary and sophisticated kitchens at their respective times. Moreover, they are the best evidence of how Poggenpohl has been innovating and reforming kitchen industry through the century.

Lars Völkel, the Managing Director of Poggenpohl, was also invited as a key note speaker on the stream of “Brands & Design” at BODW, where he held a seminar on the topic of “Poggenpohl: 120 years of kitchen (r)evolution”.

White Truffle Hunt and Gala Dinner

Gaggenau staged the city’s first white truffle hunt and dinner, as a tribute to their professional and sculptural kitchen appliances, which are equally rare and priceless as white truffle in culinary world.

The event commenced with a hunt for the white diamond, where 20 socialites and journalists were taken on an odyssey by Audi A8 sedan with a chauffeur from their residence to Hullett House, then Audi Kowloon and had their final adventure at the newly opened House of Gaggenau, where they hunted for a hidden truffle in an “edible truffle forest”.

The hunt preluded an evening of white elegance, where 150 city’s most prominent guests were treated to a night of ultimate gastronomy enjoyment at the courtyard of the Hullett House. Chef Ryan Clift, owner and executive chef of The Tippling Club, best 20 restaurants in Asia, elaborately created a six-course feast themed with “the white diamond”. A highlight of the dinner came as the guests bidding for a large white truffle sponsored by Gaggenau to support UNICEF.

The event reflects the most genuine passion of Gaggenau to promote refined culinary arts and its persistent pursuit of the “bella vita”.

The House of Gaggenau Grand Opening

Gaggenau, the German luxury kitchen appliance specialist, celebrated the opening of the House of Gaggenau, the first flagship showroom in Hong Kong, with tremendous support from the city’s and international elites on October 25th 2012.

Gaggenau takes pride in its persistent pursuit of culinary art and European art of living. Opening a 1,500 sq. ft. culinary studio, along with a private dining room and showcase kitchen styled after a private clubhouse, Gaggenau will further enforce its culinary passion with many inspiring and exciting collaborations with celebrity and Michelin starred chefs.
Upon entering the showroom, guests are impressed by a ‘Heritage Wall’ made from the wood of a century-old Black Forest lodge. It is completed with a vintage cuckoo clock and Gaggenau’s most iconic masterpiece, oven EB388, a permanent exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The wall represents a history of 330 years of technical excellence of Gaggenau and can be found in all Gaggenau flagship showrooms worldwide.

Gaggenau has gained magnificent support from many culinary masters worldwide for its contribution in bringing professional kitchens to domestic users. Strato, handmade Italian kitchen master, opened its first galleria in Hong Kong with a full house on July 5th 2012. It has also initiated the global tour exhibition of Semplice (Simplicity), the iconic masterpiece of Strato.

Semplice had only made its debut to the world in Eurocucina (Milan Design Week) in April 2012, when it gained significant attention and won Best of Milan Design Week by Yatzer, a global online destination founded by Costas Voyatzis, who is one of the 100 most influential people in the design industry. It is our honor to share this latest “fresh from oven” signature piece with Hong Kong customers.

Many industry elites, celebrity designers, architects, influencers of the high society came to support the opening. Guests were impressed by the incredible beauty of Strato haute couture kitchens. The most prestigious few were then invited to a private and delicate dinner at China Club, where they met Marco Gorini and Gianna Farina in person, founders and chief designers of Strato, and shared their views on how Strato has transformed domestic kitchens to a living art piece.
